The Lake's Guardian

My alf of a trade with the talented Lokis! She asked me to represent the Ojibwe demi-god, Misshepezhieu, in however I decided to do so! It's said that Misshepezhieu, or the Horned Lynx, is the cause of Lake Superior's troubled waters, and could create waves with the slap of his tail. People would leave offerings in an attempt to appease his anger and cross the lake without mishap. I kind-of took him as the lake's guardian, a water god who protects the lake and it's inhabitants, so I displayed him in a more noble aspect. XD

Tried to go for the "wet cat" look here...can't say I was able to tackle it well, but I will eventually try again! Wet fur is difficult and a fun challenge! As was using acrylics...it's been...way too long. XD
