Get Well card for my Senior Thesis. Decided to have a little fun with songbird of the eastern US! The two small birds on the left side are the black-throated blue warbler, and the american redstart. Above them is a blue jay. To the right, we have the northern cardinal, baltimore oriole (a female one, for good measure!!), and a fox sparrow.
Admittedly not my favorite of my thesis work, but many others seemed to really gravitate towards this piece. Either way, I sure did learn a lot about birds and their anatomy! Never woulda thought that a cardinal had translucent-like wings when in flight...  But yes...birdies!  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. This is a great picture... the birds all look so happy! ^-^ And the colouring is great, too. You can practically make out every feather. This is a definate favourite. <3
